Every girl has the potential to impact her community. When you donate to our annual GIFTS for Girls campaign you provide girls with the opportunity to achieve their true potential. 100% of your donation to GIFTS for Girls stays with our Council to support Girl Scouts and volunteers.

Annual Fund
By making a yearly gift to the G.I.R.L. Fund, you’re helping Girl Scouts of Citrus empower young women to become future leaders!
Girl Scouts of Citrus invests $467* (per girl, per year) to provide the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Product sales, retail, and program fees bring in $418* (per girl, per year). That leaves a gap of $49 per girl.
G.I.R.L. Fund gifts allow Girl Scouts of Citrus to close this gap and provide the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to every girl. Plus, 100% of all donations stay within our council!
*Based on council’s operating budget to support 43,000 girls and 24,000 adult members.
Why is it important? Consistent giving allows Girl Scouts of Citrus to confidently plan ahead for future initiatives for girls.

Juliette Gordon Low was the first to leave a planned gift to the Girl Scouts – she gifted her home to serve as the first headquarters. In her honor, In her memory and on the occasion of the 100th anniversary, the national Juliette Gordon Low Society was established to thank and honor friends of Girl Scouting who, like Juliette, choose to make Girl Scouts part of their legacy and beneficiary of their estate.

United Way
Support Girl Scouts of Citrus throughout the entire year by making a pledge using payroll deduction. Just designate how much you want deducted from each pay period and the funds will be automatically collected for disbursement to Girl Scouts of Citrus.

Memorials & Tributes
Establishing a memorial or tribute gift in honor of your loved one or to celebrate a special occasion while supporting Girl Scouts is a meaningful way to give. Your memorial or tribute gift will be a lasting tribute to your loved one and will allow us to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Tribute gifts allow you to recognize someone that has made an impact on your life while supporting Girl Scouts. Upon receipt of a tribute gift, a thank you card will be sent to the honoree informing them that a gift has been received in their honor.
For memorial gifts, a card will be sent to the honoree’s family. You will also receive an acknowledgement letter.
